Swimming Pool Area
This 9.5m x 4.5m salt water pool is heated to 27C when temperatures are over 15C, which normally makes it usable from March to December. There are various areas where you can all sit and sip cocktails together from the poolside bar, or you can also find quiet corners for peaceful reading, or a little siesta in the shade.
Dining Al Fresco
These pergola covered tables provide a shaded and protected space for dining in large groups both during the day and at night. Enjoy tapas, paella, fideua and delicious BBQs prepared by your own private Chef with no shopping or clearing away to bother about.
Dining at Home
With two dining rooms Can Marcer has lots of space. Check out one of the sample menus for healthy Mediterranean Breakfast buffets, Lunches and Dinners served by one of the local Chefs, or if you simply want one or two dishes prepared for you and left for you to serve that too is an option.
Two Cooking Spaces
Whether you hire in a local Chef, decide to allocate cooking days or organise cooking competitions between your group, it’s really useful having two kitchens. If you’d like to learn how to make some new Spanish dishes why not hire a local Chef for a Mediterranean cookery class, and serve the wonderful results to the rest of the team at lunch or dinner.
The Gardens
Water is scarce and precious in this part of the world, so to irrigate the gardens we collect rainwater from the roofs in a huge “cup” once used for fomenting wine. The plants and trees are indigenous to the Garraf area and are self seeding. They include Fig Trees, Thyme, Rosemary, Wild Asparagus and Mediterranean Fan Palm. At present we’re working on strengthening the olive trees to bear fruit, and we use a coco husk water filtration system to clean and recycle the water used at the masia to water them.
Party Room
This arched window links the party room 11 x 4.5m to the chillout zone making the chillout, bar and party room all part of one new entertainment area. Projector, screen, disco lights and speakers can be rented if required.
Places to Relax Inside
Twin spaces offer plenty of room for everyone to unwind and connect. The bright and spacious upstairs sitting room features large, comfortable sofas and a 72″ smart TV — perfect for movie nights, or relaxing together after a day of exploration. The traditional downstairs lounge has a cozy, character-filled feel, lined with books and opening onto beautiful valley and sea views. With a Bluetooth speaker and a calm, welcoming atmosphere, it’s an ideal spot for catching up over a drink, playing games or enjoying a quiet moment with a book or jigsaw.
BBQ and Bar Area
The BBQ area is an essential part of holidays at Can Marcer. As well as being safer to use to avoid fire risks so near to the Garraf Natural Park, the gas Weber BBQ is easy and clean to use and produces delicious results.
Night Life at the Masia
Enjoy languishing on the top terrace after dinner with a glass of Rose, looking up at the stars and breathing in the sweet aromas of the balmy evenings.
Gecko Bar
The Gecko Bar is a great place to practice your creative cocktail inventing talents with a willing range of friends and family to practice on.
A Gym and Yoga space
Enjoy our gym with great views while you keep fit. Great space for yoga retreats and we use it as a Plan B for your special event dining if rain is forecast.

Fuimos por motivos de trabajo y pasamos una semana maravillosa y tranquila. El paisaje es maravilloso, relajante y una fuente de inspiración. Pudimos trabajar muy bien en los diferentes lugares de la casa y descansar después de la jornada laboral. La masia es muy acogedora, amplia, limpia y está bien ubicada, a solo 30 minutos de Barcelona y a unos minutos de Sitges. La decoración y el mobiliario son encantadores y de buen gusto. Tiene todos los servicios necesarios: lavadora, secadores de cabello en cada baño, toallas y un canasto de bienvenida. Es un lugar ideal para pasar unas lindas vacaciones, celebrar en familia e incluso trabajar con el equipo de trabajo.
La comunicación con los dueños fue excelente, respondieron rápidamente a todas nuestras preguntas, muy atentos y flexibles. La ayuda del personal local fue extraordinaria, siempre estuvieron atentos a cualquier detalle y fueron muy serviciales, la comida también fue estupenda.

In March, my co-workers and I were in Can Marcer de la Penya for conference reasons. We were 19 people, but the villa could easily accommodate more people. The hosts are very friendly and very helpful. Even in advance, the communication was great and they answered questions for all questions. On site, the warm and lovely housekeeper Jana was always available and was immediately on hand when needed. The villa was very clean and super modern equipped. You have everything you need and more. We felt very comfortable. There was nothing missing, all kitchen utensils and appliances are available, even spices were available in a large selection. We enjoyed the area, the pool and the great view into the distance. The villa is very quiet and offers plenty of opportunities to pass the time. Anyway, we were thrilled and would come back anytime.

im März waren meine Arbeitskollegen und ich aus Tagungsgründen in der Villa Can Marcer de la Penya. Wir waren 19 Personen, doch die Villa hätte noch mehr Personen locker beherbergen können. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Schon vorab war die Kommunikation super und sie standen für alle Fragen Rede und Antwort. Vor Ort stand uns die herzliche und liebe Housekeeperin Jana jederzeit zur Verfügung und war umgehend zur Stelle, wenn man sie gebraucht hat. Die Villa war sehr sehr sauber und super modern ausgestattet. Man hat alles was man braucht und noch mehr. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Es hat an nichts gefehlt, sämtliche Küchenutensilien und Geräte sind vorhanden, selbst Gewürze standen in großer Auswahl zur Verfügung. Wir haben die Anlage, den Pool und den tollen Ausblick in die weite Ferne sehr genossen. Die Villa ist sehr ruhig gelegen und bietet eine Menge Möglichkeiten sich die Zeit zu vertreiben. Wir waren jedenfalls begeistert und würden jederzeit wieder kommen.
The accommodation is just amazing! the house is warm and peaceful. We spent a week there for a company event. and we all enjoyed the place.

Beautiful villa with a very attentive housekeeper and owner. Great for large teams due to the many bedrooms, office, wifi and outdoor sitting/dining area.
The house had wonderful rooms with plenty of bathrooms and a kitchen that made it possible to cook for 25 people every day. The location was perfect, close enough for us to get there easily but far enough away from the city so people didn’t wander off too easily. The hosts (both Jana and Peter) were very friendly and helped us out with any question / comment / quest we had for them. It can definitely be recommended for any company trip with 20-30 people!
