I run a yoga retreat business and had the joy of bringing two groups to this majestic masia. The rooms are spacious, the beds incredibly comfortable, and the layout easily accommodates single, double, or triple occupancy. The property feels more like a boutique hotel, with plenty of inviting spaces to relax, both indoors and out.

The highlight for our group was the outdoor yoga studio—a beautiful, open-air turf space that easily fits 18+ mats and props. Each morning and evening, we practiced overlooking rolling vineyards with glimpses of the Mediterranean. The impeccably manicured grounds, cared for by Ajoub, only added to the magic. The pool and sun deck became another favorite gathering spot—perfect for cooling off after a hot day of tours or enjoying a peaceful water meditation session.

It was a pleasure to stay in your lovely villa. We had such a lovely holiday. Lots of happy family memories made. The space was amazing and perfect for us all and with such lovely views and seating areas we really did not feel the need to even eat out, although we did, meals at the villa were the best. We would love to return one day.

Peter was very helpful in our check-in and helped us resolve a grocery arrangement issue as well. Everyone remarked how unique and memorable the property was. The modernized bathrooms and huge outdoor patio and pool give this historic property a comfortable feel. It was perfect for our team retreat.

What can I say, Can Marcer de La Penya is one of a kind! It is professionally run by the owners. The property itself is in such good condition, which is often not the case in these older buildings. The staff are all friendly and helpful and I can’t wait to return. It also served as an amazing wedding venue for us. The layout is just perfect for a small wedding, and the vendors supplied in the welcome pack were top quality and know the venue so well that you really don’t need to worry about a thing. Thank you!

This villa has all you can wish for! We were six families with kids (age 2-11) celebrating our 40th birthdays. The place is spacious and so well looked after, with attention to every detail. The cook and meal service was excellent! A yoga teacher came to the house a coupe of times for private classes. Contact with the owners was very easy and professional from start to finish. Practicalities at arrival and check out was very smooth. Would highly recommend this place, and hope to come back in the near future!

Thank you Peter and Ginette for your warm hospitality. We were a large group of 10 adults and 13 kids. We had plenty of room and everyone had a lot of fun. The location was perfect – close to Sitges, between Barcelona and Tarragona. The house was very well equipped to receive us all. Highly recommend for a large group of family and friends.
